Two motifs will be offered in the workshop – the Triple Endless Ribbons© knot uses three accent fabrics plus a background fabric, and the Quintuple Endless Ribbons© uses five accent fabrics plus a background fabric. The knot begins with a simple strata strip set which, with some clever cutting and ingenious piecing, becomes an interwoven whirl of color. Endless Ribbons© is intriguing, stunning, and absolutely fabulous! Offered in this workshop are 16 designs in 4 different styles. Please don’t be deceived by the impression of intricacy of Endless Ribbons© – this will be an e ($15.00 book fee per student, payable
to Peg) 2. Civil War Soldier
Quilts Instructor: Julie Bragg Skill Level: G, R Contact Julie at julie@quiltescape.com 3. Studio Time / My Circle of Friends Instructor: Cindy Casciato Skill Level: All By popular request the classroom will
be open all day Friday. You may choose to come down on Thursday night
or arrive early Friday morning to set up your class equipment. The formal
teaching may not begin until Friday afternoon; however you can work on
your own projects until that time. More about the Class Project: “Circle of Friends”. Bring your fat quarters and your scraps to make this wonderful circle quilt based on a very old pattern that I have improved to construct it quick and easy. We will start with 9” squares, sew circles and end up with squares again. Each completed circle contains backing and batting and is a complete unit by itself. We join the circles together to make a finished quilt. The purpose of this quilt is to collect your friend’s signatures in the overlapping sections of the quilt. You can also do this project as a planned quilt with just two fabrics. The signature concept is of course optional. Pattern: $5.00 You will go home with finished quilt.

if you have any questions. 4. Watercolor Trip Around the World Instructor: Rita Fishel Skill Level: All This is an easy class to complete during
a Quiltescape weekend! Pattern is simple enough for beginners, yet interesting
enough for more advanced students. There’s NO STRESS during this
fun weekend, and you won’t take home another UFO! In this quilt,
twelve blended fabrics piece together to create a masterpiece! Quilt can
be sized from lap to king and kits are available. 5. Beyond Beginning Machine Quilting on the Domestic Sewing Machine Instructor: Debby Lee. Skill Level:
G, R 6. Lavendar and Lollipops: Linda Luggen Skill Level: All When I look at this quilt, it makes me think of lavender. When my granddaughter saw it, she said lollipops. So it is. This is a fun quilt to make incorporating some unique unit appliqués, dimensional flowers, gentle curved scallops and easy “lollipop” flowers. The class teaches appliqué to beginners, helps to perfect the stitch of the more experienced and hopefully gives insight into a few new ways to look at appliqué designs. This large violet vase of flowers allows for more freedom as the flowers and leaves seem to float. The techniques can be taught in a day. More days would be beneficial to begin different units. Easy. Pattern fee $10. Linda Luggen @ linda@quiltescape.com 7. Kwick Kut Krazy Patch Instructor:
Beverly Neff Skill Level: All Purely Plum is from the book Divide and
Conquer. This is a quilt as you go project. When the top is finished,
so is the quilt. Make individual blocks and join together without seams
showing. This quilt is also reversible so you can get two different looks
out of one quilt. Make one side out of Christmas fabrics and the other
side to match your bedroom. When the holidays come all you have to do
is flip your quilt over and you are ready for Christmas. Or, make one
side out of pastel fabrics and the other out of brightly colored fabrics,
the choice is yours. You may make this quilt scrappy looking or give it
a more uniform look. Cost: $26.00 Discount given when purchased from Sandie.
