Extended Class G/Class 7: Bali Wedding Star

Do you love the gorgeous quilts created by Judy Niemeyer (Quiltworx.com), but have not yet taken the plunge to create your own masterpiece? Or have you already begun your masterpiece, but need some coaching to complete it? This class is for you!
If you have a Quiltworx quilt already begun, dig it out of your closet and bring it to Quiltescape. Experienced certified instructor, Sue Wilson, will help you sort out your pieces and get back on the road to completing it! Be sure to bring your paper piecing supplies, your project, AND the directions for your pattern.
Of… if you have drooled over Judy Niemeyer’s Bali Wedding Star quilt, here’s your opportunity to make a small table topper version before you invest the time and money into a bed sized Bali Wedding Star. You’ll have the opportunity to learn all the steps you need to complete this quilt in any size, including cutting the fabric and papers. (If you have no experience with Quiltworx patterns, please don’t cut anything before coming to class! Judy’s cutting techniques are very innovative and speedy, but can be confusing the first time you tackle them.). Because this class is intended to walk you through all the steps to complete the Bali Wedding Star quilt, it will not be appropriate for you to try to begin the Bali Wedding Star quilt in a bed size during class.
Sue will offer two online coaching sessions during October 2017. These free optional sessions (using your computer or phone) will give you the opportunity to ask her questions about fabric selection or your proposed project. Watch for those coaching dates once class registration is completed!
