4. Studio Time/Studio Projects: Color Confidence & Fabriholics Fantasy

Come and join us for a sit and sew class that allows you to set the pace! You can choose to make either of the class project quilts "Color Confidence," and "Fabriholics Fantasy" or finish some projects that you already have underway. Everyone will benefit from sharing their latest sewing tips, new notions and showing their projects.
By popular request, the classroom will be open all day Friday. The formal teaching doesn't begin until Friday evening; however, you can work on your own projects until that time.
More about the Studio Project: "Color Confidence": Explore the harmonies demonstrated on the color wheel with a 60 degree triangle. Discover how to enhance your quilts with new creative energy. Working with the colors you select you will identify three specific areas of design: shape, value/intensity and texture.
Part I of the class will be designing your 3-D boxes all made with a 60 degree triangle ruler provided by the instructor. The cost of the ruler is $8.00.
Part II of the class you will learn how to assemble the
design without set-in seams.

More about the Studio Project: "Fabriholics Fantasy": This amazing quilt is made from either 5" squares and 6" wide strips all cut from your stash. The border splash fabric should be something special you find that ties it all together. This class will teach you how to combine all kinds of patterns and colors by relying on the principle of value. You will learn the "Triangle Magic Method" utilizing my new tool to mark your sewing lines. So easy you will want to use this method every time you see half and quarter square triangles in a quilt.
